Footwear is underrated when it comes to the treatment and prevention of foot and lower limb complications.
There are many aspects to consider when selecting the correct footwear. The biomechanical function of your foot during activity, and the activity itself, have a direct influence on the type shoe you need. Hiking shoes are completely different to running shoes. A pronated foot (Rolling in) requires a different last/midsole/outsole/heel-toe offset (and more!) to a stiff high arched foot.
